I got to hang out with a longtime friend last night. In the daily comings and goings of life, I think people sometimes get caught up in their own stories and forget that everyone else has one too. It's a blessing to have people in your life that are there to listen to both your joys and your pains. I use to keep a "sunshine" journal where I would try to think of something every day that I was thankful for. I know it sounds cheesy, but I think sometimes putting things in perspective can turn a bad day into a good one. Tonight, I am thankful for good friends.
